How to Make Brown Sugar

I am excited to teach you how to make brown sugar at home! It’s so simple. All you need are two ingredients.

Ingredients

1 Tbsp Molasses

1 Cup Granulated Sugar

A mixing bowl

metal spoon, optional (I like to mix with my hands)

Instructions

  1. Combine the sugar and molasses in a mixing bowl
  2. Stir with a metal spoon, pressing out clumps with the back of the spoon. Or just use your hands
  3. If you want a lighter brown sugar, use less molasses
  4. If you want a darker brown sugar, use more molasses.
  5. That’s it!
  6. Store in an airtight container
